Bigge takes four LR 1300s
California-based Bigge Crane and Rigging has ordered four 300 tonne Liebherr LR 1300 SX duty cycle crawler cranes.
The deal – sealed at Bauma – means that Bigge now has the largest fleet of LR 1300s in the world.
The LR 1300 SX is one of Liebherr Nenzing’s most successful crawler cranes with a wide number of boom and jib configurations up to a 172 metres maximum and is often used for maintenance and assembly work on wind power installations.

California-based Bigge Crane and Rigging Co has ordered four 300 tonne Liebherr LR 1300 SX crawler cranes.
The LR 1300 SX can also be transported with boom and counterweight with a retraction of the track width from eight to 4.8 metres which is especially useful for short-term work.
“High output, full power and multi-functionality are trademark characteristics of the LR 1300 SX crawler crane. The crane perfectly meets our and our customer’s expectations on jobsites,” said Joe Nelms of Bigge.
