Carmolingo takes over at Trico

US based rental company Trico Lift has appointed Chris Carmolingo as chief executive, replacing co-founder Ken Pustizzi, who recently announced his retirement.

Carmolingo joined the company 18 years ago and was promoted to vice-president of sales and marketing in 1998 and became chief operating officer in 2011.

Pustizzi said: “Under Chris’ leadership as chief operating officer, the company has achieved efficiencies and performance consistencies in virtually every business function. These advances include a significant increase in Trico Lift’s fleet size and the expansion of its transportation truck fleet to improve its response time to customers.”

Trico chairman John Paz added: “Chris’ keen business insight and clear understanding of the equipment market makes him a recognised leader in the access equipment industry and the right choice for Trico Lift’s chief executive role.”

New Jersey based Trico Lift, was founded in 1952 by the late Joe Pustizzi, the father of the outgoing chief executive. It currently operates from eight locations in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey and Texas and specialises in the supply of aerial lifts.
