New controls for Nifty-Lift
Australian truck mounted lift producer, Nifty-Lift has introduced a new controls on its products which includes a hi-resolution colour screen.
The company says that its aim with this second generation Canbus control system was to ensure the work platform was reliable and extremely easy to use. The screen guides less experienced users through the correct operation of the work platform, as well as the machines key features, including bodywork items such as lighting, door locks and traffic signal boards.

Nifty-Lift's new machine interface provides clear information and even a basic tutorial
The new operating system features built in fault diagnosis, fault code logging and fault overrides, plus detailed servicing information and hundreds of customisable options for warning messages, alarms and interlock logic. All of this can be remotely accesses from anywhere in the world, allowing fleet owners to reduce call out costs etc…
The system is fully compliant with AS1418.10, and incorporates the latest Autec Dynamic series radio controls on insulated Nifty-Lift models.
The new models also include an emergency hand pump for the stabilisers, ensuring that a machine can be fully stowed into the transport position in the event of a major breakdown, enabling operators to drive the machine back to a service point for repair.
