WesternOne jumps 67.5%

Canadian aerial lift and accommodation specialist Western One has reported a 67.5 percent rise in nine month revenues.

Total revenues for the period were $273.8 million, most of the increased revenue came from the rapidly expanding Britco accommodation business. The equipment division represented $67.9 million of the total with an EBITDA of $23.9 million. The company also managed to turn last year’s pre-tax loss of $9.6 million into a profit this year of $5.4 million.

Looking at the third quarter the business achieved revenues of $93.6 million – over 73 percent higher than for the same period last year. The company did not quite manage to break even for the quarter, but did turn last year’s pre-tax loss of $5.8 million into a loss this year of just $64,000.
