Nifty award ceremony

The official presentation of the two Queens Awards that Niftylift won earlier this year, occurred just before Christmas in front of nearly 200 staff and local dignitaries - see: Two Queen’s Awards for Niftylift.

The lord lieutenant of Buckingham, Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher presented Niftylift founder and chairman Roger Bowden and managing director John Keely with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in ‘Innovation’ and in another for ‘International Trade’.

The company also took advantage of the occasion to announce its latest plans to build a brand new state-of-the-art production facility in Milton Keynes. Construction of the long awaited facility will begin in the new year.

Speaking at the ceremony Bowden said: “The hard work and commitment that you (Niftylift staff) have given has allowed us to build very solid and sustainable foundations upon which Niftylift will continue to develop and grow for many years to come.”
