Ramirent outsources lift maintenance
Rostek-Tekniikka has acquired the aerial lift maintenance operations of Ramirent in Finland and signed a partnership agreement for ongoing lift maintenance. The move will affect around 20 Ramirent employees.
Rostek-Tekniikka is based in Espoo, outside Helsinki, and operates from three other depots of its own in Finland, it employs around 35 and had revenues last year in the region of ﾀ15 million. It distributes and support Genie lifts and telehandlers in Finland.
Anna Hyvnen, Ramirent executive vice president Finland and Baltic, said: "Lift maintenance is an important support function in our fleet operations. The target is to guarantee high performing and safe equipment for our customer. Our aim is to ensure competent, mobile and efficient maintenance across the whole country. We want to develop maintenance operations in the equipment rental business together with Rostek-Tekniikka Oy."
Risto Liiri, chairman of Rostek-Tekniikka added: "With this strategic partnership with Ramirent, our aim is to develop the process for lift maintenance capabilities in Finland and deepen our long co-operation further.
