B/E Aerospace moves into rental
Houston, Texas based rental company LT Energy Services has been acquired by B/E Aerospace, a leading manufacturer of aircraft cabin interiors, aerospace fasteners, consumables and logistics services. At the same time it acquired Wildcat Wireline.
LT Energy runs a tight range of equipment aimed at the Oilfield market, including telescopic handlers and aerial work platforms. It operates from locations in Pleasanton, Texas, Bossier City, Louisiana, Waynoka and Cheyenne in Oklahoma as well as its Houston base.
The total purchase price, including expenses, for the two transactions will be around $265 million. The two businesses have combined revenues of approximately $125 million.

LT Energy operates from five locations

Khoury, founder and chief executive of B/E Aerospace said: “The acquisitions of LT, headquartered in Houston and Wildcat headquartered in Marshall, Texas, continues our initiative to expand our consumables management segment into the oilfield equipment rental, logistics and services business. The acquisition of LT establishes a new geographical base of operations in the South Western United States, very similar to that of our Blue Dot subsidiary in the Marcellus/Utica basin of the North Eastern United States. The acquisition of Wildcat expands the Company’s service offerings in both locations.”
