TVH improves online parts sourcing

TVH has substantially upgraded its ‘MyTotalSource’ online parts shop, making it easier for customers to look up references, place inquiries and orders, consult catalogues, as well as receive news and promotions.

A new inbox function keeps customers informed of all order updates and offers and allows them to view the results of imports and order status. At the same time the company’s search engine MyPartsFinder has been updated with new features to make it easier to find parts references, while the database has been expanded with new models and extra information. It is now also possible to call up a list of common references if you don't have a part number. To do so, you only need to enter the brand and model of the machine.

For the people on the road or those visiting customers, a new profile was created: ‘Warehouse – no price’. With these profile settings it is possible to easily place inquiries, obtain product information, view photographs, and consult availability and delivery times, without disclosing prices.
Finally a new ‘Do You Mean’ pop-up screen has been added for when a reference is entered under an incorrect brand, with the system automatically suggesting some possible alternatives from which the customer can select the correct reference.

A smartphone version is also planned for launch in May.
