HWS adds Genies

Dutch access rental company HWS has purchased a number of new Genie scissors and boom lifts.

The order, through Genie distributor HDW Nederland, comprises an undisclosed number of 20ft GS2046 electric slab scissor lifts with 544kg platform capacity and 1.17 metre overall width, along with two 30ft Z30/20N industrial type narrow aisle articulated boom lifts and an 80ft Z80/60 articulated Rough Terrain boom with its 18.3 metres of outreach.

HWS has a mixed fleet, largely made up of JLG, Niftylift and Holland lift on the self-propelled side, although it does run a number of Genies, including the Z30/20N. The GS2046 is quite a rare machine for European rental companies with most preferring the extra height from a 1.2 metre wide chassis, rather than the higher platform capacity.
