Loader crane bridge bashing
A poorly stowed loader crane struck a pedestrian overpass in Doncaster, UK, on Tuesday causing it to collapse.
The trailer, owned by concrete block and paving manufacturer Plasmor, was travelling on the A630 into Doncaster when its loader crane, which was fitted with a brick/block grab, hit the overpass causing a large section of it to collapse across part of the road. The road was closed for the remainder of the day while the bridge and truck were removed.
