First 36m Isoli goes to the UK
The first production unit of Isoli’s new 36 metre PTJJ36.29 truck mounted lift is being shipped to the UK where local dealer APS is planning to take it out on a demonstration tour.
The new model, the first larger Isoli in many years, was shown in prototype form at Bauma last year, since then it has undergone testing and further development, with the production units gaining an additional two metres of outreach.
Mounted on an 18 tonne two-axle truck it is intended to compete - in performance and quality terms – with the leading German and Scandinavian manufacturers. Features include a three section telescopic boom, two section telescopic jib and short articulated end jib with 155 degrees of articulation, and four-position outriggers with automatic working envelope control.
The double jib enables ‘below-ground’ reach of six metres, making it handy for under-bridge inspection work and harbour or retaining wall maintenance. With maximum platform capacity of 400kg, the lift can achieve an outreach of 24 metres, rising to 29 metres with 120kg in the platform.
Automatic self-levelling with enhanced memory functions is standard, while a ‘home’ function automatically retracts the boom and takes the operator back to the memorised position. Other standard features 180 degrees platform rotation and radio remote controls. Options include a platform-mounted winch.

Richard Tindale, IAPS/APS sales and marketing director said: “This class-leading Isoli machine really demonstrates the quality and innovation of Isoli’s new-generation truck mounted platforms. The excellent build standards, performance and features stand comparison with leading manufacturers anywhere in the world, and we are proud to show it to customers in the demanding UK market.”
The APS – Isoli road show sets off from Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire on March 3rd. Anyone interested in seeing and trying the demonstration unit should contact APS on 01480 891251 or APS Scotland on 0845 602 2155.
