HWS takes MEC Speed Level

Dutch access rental company HWS has taken delivery of its first 26ft battery electric MEC 2684ES Speed Level, with the company announcing plans to add a “significant number” of four wheel drive electric powered scissor and Speed Level lifts to its fleet within the next two years.

Purchased through MEC Europe, a division of Omega Lift, the 2684ES offers a working height of 9.75 metres, a 3.65 by 1.83 metre platform and a 770kg capacity. It also features a 920mm roll out deck extension with a 227kg capacity.

HWS said: “When the first MEC 3072ES and MEC3772ES Rough Ter¬rain electric scissors lifts were launched the industry was still somewhat hesitant. But now we can confirm these lifts are a huge success, with many European companies making the swap to our line of electric powered 4WD’s.”
