17 spiders for Gerken
German based access rental company Gerken has place an order for 17 Teupen Leo spider lifts.
The order consists of two 30 metre Leo 30GTs, seven 15 metre Leo 15GTs and eight of Teupen’s latest 21 metre Leo 21GTs which was unveiled at Bauma last year. Weighing 2,950kg the 21GT offers up to 12 metre of outreach and a maximum platform capacity of 250kg. It has an overall width of 980mm and an overall height of 1.99 metres. The order to scheduled for completion later this year.
Gerken chief executive Christian Gerken said: “We see ourselves as a centre of excellence for particularly demanding aerial work platform operations. Therefore, it is extremely important to be able to offer spider lifts with working heights from 13 to 50 metres."

The 21GT offers a working height up to 21 metres and an outreach of 12 metres
Gerken is based in Düsseldorf with locations throughout Germany as well as having branches in the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain. The company currently has more than 4,200 machines in its rental fleet – 60 of which are spider lifts.
