Scaffold collapse in Sydney
At least three people were injured after a large façade scaffold collapsed this morning in south east Sydney, Australia.
The scaffold, which was around five stories high on a 14 storey building, was being dismantled at the time. Union safety inspectors have claimed that they raised concerns about the scaffold construction back in December.

Two of the injured were men working on the scaffold, they managed to ride the scaffold down and are suffering from non-life threatening injuries. A third person was a passing female pedestrian who suffered from minor abrasions and was treated on site. Around 100 people were evacuated from the area, while traffic was badly disrupted.
