74 new Ascendants for Facelift

UK aerial lift rental company Facelift has invested £3.5 million in 74 new Ascendant truck mounted lifts.

The order includes 50 units of Ascendant’s 12.5 metre van mounted platforms, 12 22 metre self-drive units and 12 of the company’s 18 metre truck mounts.

Managing director Gordon Leicester said: "We've got big plans for 2014 and of course, at the heart of that is making sure we've got the kit our customers want. We're continually investing in our fleet to make sure that whatever the access challenge, our teams can help, and we hope that these new vehicles from Ascendant will help us to further grow our market share."

Steven Dean, founder and chief design engineer of Ascendant Access added: "Our vehicles are in demand from everyone, from the contractor who just needs to work at height occasionally to crews who spend most of their time in the skies. Facelift has invested in a comprehensive range of kit from us, and we anticipate they'll prove popular with customers."
