Road/rail inspection platform for Lincon
Lincon Hire, Barin’s distributor in Australia, has taken delivery of a new AB 10.5 Combi road/rail under bridge inspection platform.
Mounted on a three axle Scania chassis the bucket-type aerial work platform has also been designed to travel on rails and has been fitted with two sets of rail axles positioned 1.06 and 1.43 metres apart.
When used in its normal roadside capacity the AB 10.5 Combi offers up to 10.5 metres of horizontal under bridge outreach and a maximum below ground reach of 14 metres. As well as being able to clear bridge barriers of up to 3.8 metres high it has a maximum working height of 14 metres. Its capabilities are fractionally reduced when running on rails however, with its maximum working height and maximum below ground reach changing to 13.3 and 13.5 metres respectively.
