More Niftys for Clements

UK based rental company Clements Plant & Tool Hire has taken delivery of two new Niftylift narrow boom lifts.

The new deliveries are the latest specification 43ft HR15NE Narrow-Electric boom lifts, with uprated control systems, more efficient battery life - with up to three days work from a single charge - Tough-Cage and SIOPS operator protection system.

Coventry based Clements runs a fleet of around 50 boom lifts between 12 and 21 metres of which 80 percent of them are Niftylift models. The company says that it plans to enlarge its access fleet again later this year to cope with increased demand.

One of Clements' new Niftylift HR15N goes straight to work

Managing director Jim Longstaff said: “We bought the machines on the back of the experience of ownership of Niftylift product. One of the machines replaces an HR15 Bi-Energy boom, which has been on contract hire for a number of years and has been a fantastic servant to the company. It was one of the first HR15’s built by Niftylift and is still an excellent machine, and once we saw the new model at the factory we placed an order for two immediately.”

“Our year-end in April looks set to show an increase of 17 percent on the previous year and we are delighted with the progress we have made,” added Longstaff, who along with John Jennings has owned the business since 2007. “We have recently invested in new truck mounts, which have taken-off for us and we’re looking to increase our fleet of access equipment over the course of the year and to add more staff to cope with the additional business.”
