A new Magni

Magni Telehandlers has introduced a new 360 degree 5,000kg/ 23 metre RTH 5.23 Smart telehander, which joins the nine model range launched at Bauma last year.

The Smart version is mounted on a smaller chassis then the original RTH 5.23 and is equipped with pivot type outriggers, instead of the telescopic outriggers used on the regular models. The company says that this makes for a quicker simpler machine that is better suited to rental fleet applications.

It claims that it has a similar load chart to competitive 25 metre models, but with two metres less lifting height and a substantially lower price.

Most of the other features, such as the pressurised full visibility cab with standard air conditioning and 100 percent air filtration and interactive touch screen interface with integrated diagnostics and telematics. Similar the rest of the line the new model has a choice of JCB or Mercedes power units.
