Bishop takes Delta

SBP Holdings has acquired Delta Rigging & Tools via its Bishop Lifting Products subsidiary, both companies are based in Houston, Texas.

Both Bishop Lifting and Delta specialise in the fabrication and distribution of slings, wire rope and rigging products, crane and rigging inspection services, engineered solutions, and lifting gear rentals. The combined business will continue to use both brands as well as that of Morgan City Rentals, currently a division of Delta.

The combined company will operates from 23 branches – 18 from Delta/Morgan City and five from Bishop - in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado and North Dakota with over 700 employees.

SBP Holdings, which also owns Singer Equities, is owned by New York based AEA Investors.
