H.E places £10m order
UK rental company H.E Services has ordered 250 Manitou telehandlers from the company’s distributor Glosrose Construction in an order worth £10 million.
The order consists of a large number of nine metre MT932s, 13 metre MT1335s, 18 metre MT1840s and six metre MT625T compact telehandlers.
H.E managing director Peter Durey said: “The purchase of the new Manitou machines underlines our strategy of ensuring we have the most up-to-date fleet in the UK comprising the most advanced and productive machines currently in the market. We have enjoyed an excellent relationship with Glosrose Construction over the years and had no hesitation in increasing the number of Manitou telehandlers in our fleet.”

Established in 1972 H.E Services is one of the UK’s largest plant hire companies with a fleet of over 3,000 machines. Operating from 10 depots throughout the UK the company said it replaces its fleet every two to three years.

Glosrose is a family run sales and rental business based in Kent which is currently the appointed dealer for Manitou/Gehl in South London and South East England. It is also the dealer for Bomag, Volvo.
