Maeda LC785M-8 for Daniel Smith Industries

New Zealand based civil engineering contractor and crane rental company Daniel Smith Industries has taken delivery of its first five tonne Maeda LC785M-8 mini crane.

The crane is equipped with a 16.9 metre main boom plus a 4.7 metre offsetable jib giving a 21 metre hook height, it will be used in the company’s Australian operations. Its crane fleet includes crawler cranes up to 750 tonnes, All Terrain cranes to 170 tonnes, and a number of Merlo telehandlers.

Daniel Smith contracting has been involved with piling/foundation work, concrete construction, bridge construction and marine structures throughout New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands for nearly 20 years. Its head office is located in Rangiora, New Zealand.
