30 new RTs for Maxim
US based Maxim Crane Works has taken delivery of more than 30 new Rough Terrain Cranes during the first quarter, with further units in transit.
The cranes, from both Grove and Link-belt range in size from 50 to 130 tons and take the company’s investment in new cranes over the past year and half to more than $70 million.
North East region vice president Larry Lis said: “This significant investment in our fleet as well as the addition of experienced crane sales reps, technicians and support equipment emphasises our commitment to our customers, our team and our confidence in the US crane rental market.”
Randy Johnston, president of Maxim’s Central Region added: “Our continuous evaluation of our customer’s needs and our ability to listen to their needs, enabled us to plan our purchases and work with manufacturers to ensure that we have the most state-of-the art equipment, modernised fleet and ability to provide lifting solutions that ensure the safest and most beneficial crane rental-customer partnership in the industry.”
