First Magnis for Africa

African mining company First Quantum Mineral has taken delivery of the first four Magni telehandlers to be shipped to Africa, the units were supplied by the manufacturer’s distributor in the region Eazi.

Destined for the company’s mining operations in Zambia, the order consists of two heavy duty 30 tonne/12 metre HTH 30.12s and two five tonne/23 metre RTH 5.23 telehandlers. The HTH30.12s have been equipped with the company’s Tyre Clamp 16.63 attachment, which can handle tyres ranging in size from 24 inches to 63 inches and weighing up to 16 tonnes. They have also been specified with the company’s Cylinder Clamp designed to replace damaged hydraulic cylinders weighing up to 11 tonnes.

First Quantum Mineral’s HTH 30.12s have been purchased with Magni’s Tyre and Cylinder clamp attachments
