Snapped up on the spot

When Tony Wright of Liverpool based Spot Hire saw the new Palfinger P210BK at Vertikal Days last week, he was so impressed with its features that he ordered it on the spot.

The first of unit of the 21 metre telescopic lift arrived at UK distributor Skyking just in time for Vertikal Days last week. Mounted on a Nissan Cabstar, it uses an aluminium boom and a jib with a full 185 degrees of articulation.

Although small the new machines has a number of sophisticated features including memory function, home function, automatic levelling and variable jacking. It also has an operating envelope which enables it to operate to metres below ground level. The vehicle also has a function which allows it to be driven with the jib in its raised position for certain operations, platform rotation is 170 degrees.
