Access Link at Vertikal Days

The Access Link held its quarterly meeting at Vertikal Days last week and reported positive market developments.

Attendance was strong with members using the occasion to place orders with the exhibitors at the event. Keith John chaired the meeting, with all members reporting progress with rental rate improvements and utilisation. Some product sectors however are proving a challenge when it comes to moving rates towards sustainable levels.

Access Link members at Vertikal Days

Two new members were approved at the meeting GB Access which is based in Wellingborough, Northampton shire and Essex based spider lift specialist MBS Access. This brings the combined Access Link fleet to 5,690 with a further 300 units on order.

John said: “These two new members help fill a need in the Link both in terms of geographic and product coverage. There are still opportunities for new members and we are keen to talk to people who can bring something in the way of a greater geographical spread and also specialist products.”

The next meeting will be held at the Niftylift plant in Milton Keynes on September 17th
