Versalift adds VW T5 chassis

A project between Volkswagen, AL-KO and Time International has resulted in the introduction of the upgraded VW T5 3.5 tonne GVW chassis (usually 3.2 tonne GVW) for aerial work platform applications. The extra 300kg allows the mounting of larger lifts or simply used to provide more spare payload capacity.

TIME International is now offering the VW T5 chassis for its platforms

The first model on the new chassis is the 13.8 metre ETM-40-140-F which has 6.8 metres of outreach with a platform capacity of 200kg. Features include two sets of A-frame outriggers, a 180 degree articulated jib and proportional electrical controls.

Time says it will be able to offer a variety of lightweight access platforms for the VW T5 with AL-KO chassis, with working heights ranging from 10 to 15 metres.
