£1 million access spend for Sandhurst

UK based rental company Sandhurst Equipment Rental has ordered £1 million of new equipment to expand its access rental fleet.

The latest order follows deals struck at Vertikal Days with Skyjack and Niftylift as well as Haulotte and includes vertical masts, mast booms, articulated booms plus electric and diesel scissors with HR12 Niftylift bi energy and Skyjack articulated booms supplied with SIOPS and Safety zone devices respectively.

Since starting its access equipment in 2012, Rochester-based Sandhurst now has rental outlets in the South West, Midlands, North West and North East regions.

Sandhurst Equipment Rental has just ordered £1 million of access equipment from Skyjack, Niftylift and Haulotte.

Operations director, Steven Sutch, said: “We are delighted with the progress and growth we have achieved in the short time Sandhurst has been specialising in access equipment. This latest round of orders alleviates our very high utilisation and demand from our rental centres. The orders have been placed with suppliers which provide Sandhurst with quality products and excellent after sales support.

Sutch said that Sandhurst will extend its coverage and double its fleet within the next 12 months.
