The ATN Piaf 66

The new lift, the Piaf 66, fits into the lower end of the slab electric self-propelled scissor lift market with a 15.4ft platform height – 6.66 metres working height – it goes head to head with the Skyjack SJ16 topping the SJ12, Snorkel TM12, JLG 1232ES Haulotte Star 6 and Genie GRC12.

Unlike the others which use a closed box section telescopic mast, the ATN uses a heavy duty forklift type mast. It also features a roll-out deck extension for additional outreach over obstacles.

Vertikal Comment

The company initially announced a PVR79 with 7.9 metres working height, but after finalising the design and probably in order to meet weight and/or size demands in this sector it came out as 6.6 metres. Although a larger, heavier model might always be in the plan for later? In the meantime this new model joins Skyjack at the top end of this sector.

If you are going to Apex next week do stop by the Vertikal stand.
