Huntley takes heavy duty telehandler

UK telehandler and access rental company Geoff Huntley Plant has taken delivery of an 18 tonne Manitou MHT 10180 Heavy Lift telehandler from Newcastle-based dealer Lloyd.

Weighing just over 24 tonnes, the MHT 10180 has a maximum lift height of 10 metres and a maximum outreach of 5.5 metres. Outreach at its maximum height is 1.3 metres, at which it can lift up to nine tonnes.

Huntley Plant director Stephen Huntley said: “We understand this is the largest heavy lift telehandler in any UK rental fleet. The machine is already generating a great deal of interest throughout the UK with a number of hires already booked. We continue to be extremely impressed with the Manitou range, especially the MHT Heavy Lift and MRT Roto telehandlers upon which we are focussing our buying on at the moment and I am currently working with Manitou and Lloyd to significantly grow our Roto fleet over the next 12 months.”
