Further growth for Horizon

UK based rental company Horizon Platforms is expanding its fleet with the addition of 100 JLG, Genie and Niftylift boom and scissor lifts.

The order, comprises of a large number of JLG’s ES electric slab scissor lifts as well as battery and bi-energy Genie and Niftylift booms it also includes a 22.5 metre Holland Lift PB S225-12 E narrow aisle scissor lift. The new machines will be distributed between the company’s Yorkshire and North West branches.

Horizon sales & marketing director Rory Duggan said: “Our decision to invest with JLG for battery scissors was again driven by customer feedback. They appreciate the additional battery life and the reliability that they offer. It was also important for us to balance the fleet this year and so we have added a number of battery and bi-energy Genie and Niftylift booms. We have also enhanced our super narrow aisle scissor offering, with the addition of a PB S225-12 E joining our Holland Lift fleet.”

This latest order will increase Horizon’s fleet of aerial lifts to over 600 units.
