TNT acquires Rent-A-Crane
Texas based TNT Crane & Rigging has acquired the assets of Oklahoma-based Rent-A-Crane, strengthening its operations in the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandle region. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
TNT says that the two company’s shared experience and focus on energy and energy-related markets are complementary and a good strategic fit, enabling it to capitalise on new opportunities and expand its presence in the region. It also said customers will benefit from the expanded service, manpower and resources.
Michael Appling, TNT chief executive said: “The acquisition of Rent-A-Crane bolsters TNT’s existing footprint through additional contiguous geography and supports further penetration into the Mid-Continent energy market. Rent-A-Crane’s 30-year history in the region, coupled with TNT’s capabilities will provide significant growth opportunities and enhanced service for our combined customer base going forward. We are very excited to be working with all of the Rent-A-Crane employees and continue to grow the fine company Gary and his family have worked hard to build.”
Rent-A-Crane chief executive Gary Rohlmeier, added: “The Rent-A-Crane team is very excited about this transaction. This combination will provide our customers a large and diversified offering of lifting and rigging services and enable our employees to share in the continued successful growth of the business.”
