Böcker expands in France
German hoist, aluminium crane and aerial lift manufacturer Böcker has acquired TOM Levage - its distributor in France.
TOM Levage, of Noisy-le-Sec, just outside of Paris, has represented Böcker aluminium cranes and hoists since 2004, and at one time sold Maeda mini cranes, it will now be merged into Böcker’s local subsidiary Böcker France which is based in Marguerittes near Nimes in the south – becoming its northern region depot.
Florian Martinez will head the new branch and all eight employees will be retained.

Böcker said: “This new branch will contribute to the activities of the subsidiary in the south of France. Our European growth strategy continues to expand and as does our presence in one of the most important markets in Europe.”
Böcker has also recently appointed German building materials provider Geith and Niggl as its dealer for construction hoists and transport platforms serving southern Germany. To start the new partnership the Munich-based company has taken a number of hoists and transport platforms into its rental fleet."
