New Moog for Wemo-tec UK

The UK-based affiliate of underbridge inspection platform rental company Wemo-tec - Wemo-tec UK - claims to have taken delivery of the first bucket-type underbridge platform to be delivered to the UK in the last 25 years.

The Moog MBL 1200T offers 15 metres of down reach and 12 metres platform under reach with a 280kg capacity. Mounted on a MAN TGX 26.400 chassis the machine is also capable of achieving an over head working height of 14 metres. Weighing 23.7 tonnes it has an overall length of 10 metres and is 2.5 metres wide. The MBL 1200T joins the company’s fleet with includes a MBL 1300T and replaces an older Moog UB40.

Wemo-tec UK commercial manager Christopher Sandford, said: “The age of the UB40 type machines meant a replacement has been well over due. We have invested heavily in a brand new MBL 1200T with up-to-date technical features for the UK market. Together with the MBL1300T, we can now offer two bucket-type machines with outstanding range compared with others available on the market.”
