20,000th telehandler from Bobcat
Bobcat has manufactured its 20,000th telehandler at its Pontchateau production plant in Loire Atlantique, France.
The four tonne/17.5 metre T40180 has been purchased by Manuco Services – the company’s distributor based in Rouen, northern France.
Pontchâteau plant manager Laurent Gicquel, said: “We foresee growth of around 15 percent in sales and 17 percent in turnover this year compared to 2013. This growth is largely due to good results from the agricultural sector, which represents some 49 percent of Bobcat telehandler sales. The remaining 51 percent of our sales come from the rental and construction sectors and general industry.”
