P210 BK for energy provider

German electricity provider Kraftwerke-Haag has taken delivery of a 21 metre Palfinger P210 BK truck mounted lift to replace its old Bison TKA 19.

Mounted on a Mercedes Atego 918 AF chassis – primarily used for fire engines and ambulances – the aerial lift has been modified to cope with underground, off-road and steep incline applications as well as for work on overhead power lines with its 1,000-volt isolated platform.

The machine’s first job was to carry out repair and maintenance work at the company’s headquarters in Haag in Oberbayern. With its outriggers in the straight down configuration the P210 BK was put to work on slopes up to 11 degrees.
