Over 1,000 Skyjacks for Speedy
UK based rental company Speedy, has purchased 1,060 new scissor lifts from Skyjack
The order includes slab electric scissor and mast type lifts, along with a number of compact diesel rough terrain scissor lifts. Deliveries have already begun, with the order due to be completed later this year.

Speedy has ordered 1,060 Skyjack scissor lifts
The models ordered include 12 and 16ft SJ12 and SJ16 mast lifts - the first of this type of lift for Speedy- 19ft SJ3219s, 26ft SJ3226s and 32ft SJ4632s, all fitted with Skyjack's new motor-controller control system. The deal also includes 26ft SJ6826RT compact rough terrain scissor lifts, the first diesel powered aerial lifts in the Speedy fleet.
The order is a part of a major update and expansion programme for the company's powered access rental fleet, and will reduce the average age of its self-propelled scissor lift fleet to less than two years.

With energy costs increasing on a daily basis so we want the latest products on the market, both in terms of sustainability and innovation. The diesel machines ensure we can answer every customer need and allow us to expand into larger construction job sites.”
