Terex Utilities adds Swing Arm
Terex has launched an optional Swing Arm extension for its TL series of articulated telescopic aerial devices.
The new option increases the platform’s working range with an additional platform support extension that can rotate horizontally through a range of 215 degrees. When this is added to machine’s 180 degrees of platform rotator it is possible for operators to reach wrap around obstacles such as a utility pole to reach both sides without having to reposition the truck. It also adds an additional half a metre to the working height.

Terex TL aerial lifts offer up to 20 metres of working height and over 12 metres of outreach and a platform capacity of 220kg. An optional material handling jib with 450kg capacity is also available.
Other features incorporated into the design of the Terex TL series with Swing Arm option are a hydraulic generator with battery backup that allows electric power to the radio-controlled upper boom controls, hydraulic platform levelling system, full-pressure, open-centre hydraulic system, dual hydraulic tool outlets with flow control and continuous unrestricted worm gear rotation.
