Barnhart acquires Crane Rental & Rigging

Barnhart Crane & Rigging has reached an agreement to acquire Crane Rental & Rigging of Omaha, Nebraska

The company, which runs a fleet of 40 cranes, topped by a Liebherr 500 tonne LTM1500, employs 60 people at three locations in Nebraska - Omaha, Lincoln and South Sioux City – as well as offices in Iowa in Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Davenport and Ames and in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The business will now operate as Barnhart, and will be fully merged into the Memphis, Tennessee based company’s branch network

Barnhart chief executive Alan Barnhart said: "Crane Rental & Rigging has a history of doing excellent work. This acquisition will allow customers to receive a broader range of services that should help lower overall project costs. We think customers throughout the Midwest will be very pleased with the expansion of services they will experience through this acquisition."
