IPS to open in Germany

UK based parts and service group IPS is to open a German operation - IPS Deutschland – with the launch scheduled for Platformers Days later this week.

The new business is intended to serve customers in Germany and Austria, and will hold a strategic inventory of fast-moving parts at its premises in Saxony, as well as on its mobile service vans. The company aleady has direct sales operations in the UK and France as well as a number of parts partners across Europe and in Australia.

IPS began operations over 10 years ago and is the official UK parts distributor for Genie, Hinowa, Omme Lift, UpRight, Youngman BoSS, Grove Manlift, Manitou and Pop-Up. It also offers replacement parts for lesser-known brands and obsolete machines, sourced directly from the component manufacturers and will supply parts for several major manufacturers’ machines, including JLG, Haulotte and Ruthmann.

Group operations director Kevin Shadbolt said: “German and Austrian owners of access platforms can now benefit from better choice, availability and pricing on replacement parts.”
