Bahrain launch for Co.Me.T X4

Italian vehicle mounted aerial lift manufacturer Co.Me.T has stepped up its sales efforts in Bahrain through distributor Motorcity.

Motorcity, a car and commercial vehicle sales and distribution company, has now launched the 12 metre Comet X4 articulated boom, mounted on a 4x4 Isuzu pick-up truck. It believes this unit has volume potential in the kingdom, particularly with electrical contractors and cleaning companies thanks to its low overall cost and compact stowed dimensions. The move follows an earlier success with the manufacturer’s 21 metre Eurosky 21 truck mount lift on a 3.5 tonne chassis.

The X4 stows laterally on the vehicle

The X4 boom stows sideways on the pick-up leaving much of the bed free for cargo and has an outreach of 4.5 metres with a platform capacity of 150kg. It is all hydraulic – the simplicity of which is a factor.

Motorcity was founded in 2005 with the merger of four vehicle distribution companies and distributes a wide range of commercial vehicles, including Isuzu, Daewoo, CMC and Hino, as well as a range of car brands, including Volvo, Citroen and Subaru.
