Telehander overturn
A telehandler overturned yesterday at a building site in Norwich, UK
The machine, a standard JCB fixed frame model, had most of its boom extended and was operating with its stabilisers retracted, and seems to have been working on a slope at the time. The boom came to rest on the building and thankfully no one was injured.
The site is managed by Graham Construction for FW Properties which was not willing to comment on the incident at this point.

UPDATE
The telehandler has been recovered using a mobile crane from local crane rental company Quinto, in combination with air bags which were inflated under the two raised wheels and the air let out as the crane lifted to ensure a controlled descent. All went according to plan.
