Potain appoints Mexico dealer

Ibergruas, Potain’s long-standing dealer in Spain, has been appointed the Potain dealer in Mexico.

Based in Madrid, Ibergruas has spent the last 30 years as the Potain dealer in Spain. In 2012 it began its operations in Latin America selling used equipment before more recently becoming involved in a number of construction projects in the region. The company will now offer the full range of Potain cranes throughout Mexico, including its top-slewing tower cranes and Igo self-erectors.

Jean Pierre Zaffiro, Manitowoc’s global product director for Potain self-erecting cranes, said: “Manitowoc can only be as successful as its dealer partners and Ibergruas is a dealer that fully understands the advantages of self-erecting cranes. It invests in training its teams and educating the market on the top-notch solutions brought by our Igo line, which have shown to be a success in Europe and elsewhere.”
