Trojan appoints Icelandic Distributor

Trojan Battery has appointed Olís as the master distributor for its deep cycle batteries in Iceland.

Olís / Iceland Oil is the country’s major battery distributor and will supply products to both the business and consumer markets. Olís supports a variety of industries in Iceland, such as plant maintenance, floor cleaning, warehouse management, marine, trucking and recreation vehicles.

Established in 1927, Olís is one of Iceland’s 30 largest companies and operates through a sales and service network of more than 60 locations. The company also operates fuel service stations under the trademark of Olís, and self-serve stations under the brand name of ÓB. The company owns Outdoor activities /clothing retailer Ellingsen, as well as Hátækni electronics/mobile phone shops and ísmar the Trimble and electronics distributor.
