Rail boom

Specialist road-rail manufacturer Rexquote has delivered the first unit in an order for five of its Accessrailer-17s aerial lifts from Readypower Engineering of Wokingham.

The unique machines combine the chassis of a Terex all wheel steer dumper, with the superstructure of the Niftylift HR17 - 17 metre articulated self propelled platform.

The Accessrailer 17s from Rexquote


The Accessrailer is designed to provide access to elevated structures for the purposes of construction, maintenance and repair and offers a maximum working height of 17 metres with up to nine metres of outreach,.

Travel of the machine and platform positioning are possible from the controls in the basket as well as on the chassis. The machine has been equipped with additional seats, allowing at least three workmen to travel with the lift. .

The Accessrailer 17 has up to 17m working height and can be driven from the platform


The machine is filled with biodegradable oil and has soft foam-fill tyres.
