Airo and ACE to form JV in India

Italian aerial lift producer Airo Tigieffe and Indian construction equipment producer ACE, are finalising a manufacturing joint venture. The new company will be held 60 percent by ACE and 40 percent by Airo Tigieffe and will produce models from the Airo self propelled aerial lift range.

An AIRO boom lift

The new business will be located at a new plant in Faridabad, with the products marketed through ACE's national sales and service network. As part of the agreement, Airo will also commit to purchase a certain percentage of the production, for sale on the international market.

Airo produce a wide range of electric and diesel scissor lifts and booms. ACE build a range of tractor type pick and carry cranes as well as tractor type self erecting cranes. In addition the company distributes PM loader cranes, Oil &Steel lifts, Maber mast climbers and Zoom Lion top slewing tower cranes.
