Trailer crane overturn

An aluminium trailer crane overturned yesterday in Saint-Hubert, Southern Belgium, with the boom landing on the roof of the building it was working on.

The crane, a Klaas was lifting roof tiles on to the roof of a restoration project of a commercial premises when it lost stability, most likely due to an outrigger/set up issue. Thankfully no one was hurt in the incident and thanks to the light boom damage to the building was limited.

The crane was recovered by two mobile cranes from local crane, access and telehandler rental company Arnould de Bertrix.
