RSC expanding

RSC was effectively put up for sale earlier this year by its parent Atlas Copco, however while this process continues, RSC is expanding organically, opening 12 new branches over the next three months and a further 20 between now and early 2007.

The 12 new depots being opened now are: Gulf Shores, Alabama: Pine Bluff, Arkansas: Collinsville, Illinois: Broussard, Louisiana: Kansas City and Osage Beach, Missouri: Columbus, Ohio: Roseburg, Oregon: and Dallas, Lufkin, McKinney and Weatherford, Texas.

The 20 additional stores will open in several U.S. states and in Canada. RSC says that roughly half of the new openings are additional locations while the others are relocations. The company currently has 470 stores.
