A Grove SM3288D scissor stack mounted on Isuzu truck

A regular reader visiting the UAE, sent us details of how Rapid Access in Dubai has successfully recycled two older self propelled scissor lifts, converting them into two new truck mounted scissor lifts.

The company had two old Grove SM3884D scissor lifts professionally mounted onto new Isuzu chassis to a client’s specification. The installation, which has been fully calculated and built to international regulations, utilises all of the scissors components except for its wheels and axles.

Melvin Else of Access Industries also referred us to his company’s nine metre Access Zipper which it builds to order for a wide range of applications.
