Palazzani formalises UK distribution

Palazzani is formally appointing Powered Access Sales & Service (PASS) as its UK/Ireland distributor for the Ragno/Mantis line of crawler mounted spider lifts and more recent mini crane line.

The appointment cements a relationship dating back to the early 1990’s, when PASS principal, Phil Lomax first visited the Palazzani factory. At the time he was employed by Universal Access, the London based rental company.

Lomax recalls that the first unit Universal purchased, over 13 years ago, is still going strong and PASS has recently traded this unit in and sold it on to an end user for use in a new high bay warehouse.

A new Palazzani TSJ23 sold to Land Securities

Lomax also said “Tracked ‘Spider’ type equipment has now become a more widely accepted product in the UK, so I feel that the time is right to promote the product far more than we have in the past and it makes sense now to formalise our relationship, as part of that effort”.

Palazzani has been manufacturing agricultural and construction equipment since the 1930’s. The first Palazzani ‘Ragno’ (or ‘Mantis’ as they are also known), spider lifts arrived in the UK over 15 years ago.
