The GTH 4018 is powered by a Stage IIIA diesel and has been ordered with optional bucket and other attachments in addition to the forks. It was delivered by the Genie distributor for Oman, Al Fairuz Contracting. The machine first task was to assist in the installation of water tanks on the rooftops of housing up to four storeys high.

The telehandler in camouflage

The armed forces equipment and machinery representative said: “Provided at just the right price, complete with the training and after market service that we were looking for, the Genie GTH-4018 telehandler is spot on with our specifications — including its special military camouflage livery. It has been in constant operation since it was delivered and has performed without a hitch. However, should the need arise, we have every confidence in Al Fairuz to provide the skilled support we rely on as soon as we need it.”
